At innoSKope, we have extensive  experience in health science consulting since 2013. We work closely with clients in the space of Gastroenterology and the gut microbiome. We have consulted with companies for early to late phase clinical trials and spearheaded successful development and approval of microbiome based therapeutics.

About The CEO

Sahil Khanna, MBBS, MS, FACG, AGAF

Sahil is a Gastroenterologist and a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Sahil was born in Amritsar, India; completed Medical School at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN along with a Masters in Clinical and Translational Sciences at Mayo Clinic. 

Sahil's Interests

Sahil's interests include development of novel microbiome therapeutics for Clostridioides difficile infection and other microbiome mediated diseases. Sahil has an extensive publication record with over 200 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and presents all over the world in the field of C difficile. He is dedicated to education and mentorship, speaks on microbiome, C difficile and career development. He serves on the editorial board of various journals and is the co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Gastrointestinal infections.

Sahil's Experience

Sahil has a passion to get novel therapeutics to patients and to provide innovative solutions to difficult problems in healthcare. He consults for start ups and established pharmaceutical companies to provide recommendations on pre-clinical and clinical trials. He serves on data-safety monitoring boards for clinical trials in the microbiome and inflammatory bowel disease space.
